My Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management

I don’t know what I don’t know.

That was why I paid to attend a post-grad diploma in HR, hoping to gain more knowledge and know more friends. In Dec 2013, I got my certificate, walking away with more knowledge and reuniting with a primary school friend (such a fate to meet her in the same class).

Anyway, the classes were held almost every weekend (and by weekend, it consists of Friday evening, whole of Saturday and Sunday). I remember dragging my feet to class every time, and yes I was a lazy student. The work was hectic too, trying to squeeze in time for assignments during work week. Well, it was now all over, not without the ardent support of my husband, who lent a listening ear every time I needed one.

So now, hoping this newly acquired qualification will help me in my professional life soon. 🙂

Bill Gates: Mosquitos, malaria and education

I’m most amused about the fact that the students’ academic performance is not a determined factor for teacher tenure. And that school principal can only visit classrooms for a stated limited number of times, only after given advanced notice to the teachers.

Crazy crazy world

‘You know you don’t get this job because of the money.’

… …

yeah, I want this job because I like to take shit.

Have you ever felt helpless? I mean, really felt that there was just no way out?

Or have you thought that by using the blade on your arm’s blood vessels, the oozing blood will relieve some pressure.

You must thank god if you have never lost yourself to this crazy crazy world.

A 17-year-old girl, whose O levels is just around the corner, called her ex-relief teacher on the mobile, not to ask for help in school work, but to sob her heart out because her dad locked her out of the house, with no apparent reason.

With no pocket money at all, she has to work part time to support herself. By not having enough nutrition since young, her health is not exactly in tip top form, neither does she possess a sharp mind.

But she works hard and prays that one day she can have the ability to leave home and live on her own.

Doing oversee voluntary work is so £*{%}<¥]+]. You just need to open your eyes and you will see many needy people around you who are craving for some kindness.
